Frontiers of Business Research in China Awarded “2020 The Highest International Impact Academic Journal of China”

On December 17, 2020, Forum on the Future of Chinese Academic Journals released the Annual Report for International Citation of Chinese Academic Journals (Social Science). Frontiers of Business Research in China (FBR) is awarded “2020 The Highest International Impact Academic Journal of China (Humanities and Social Sciences)”, ranking the 11th among 80 award-winning journals—its highest ever rank. Data from the 2020 Report shows that FBR’s Impact Factor is 1.128 and the Proportion of Foreign Institutions’ Citation Frequency is 73.26%, both ranking the 1st among all journals in business administration hosted by Chinese institutions.

FBR is an Open Access English journal co-published quarterly by Renmin Business School, Higher Education Press and Springer Nature. FBR has been indexed in ESCI database since 2015, and many other international databases such as Scopus and EconLit. In 2020, the number of submissions increases by 50% year-on-year, while the article acceptance rate goes down to less than 13%. FBR also initiates the first special issue on “COVID-19 and Business” in business administration in the world. In the coming 2021, we will continue to offer ZERO article processing charges (APC) for all submissions, improve the academic quality and promote the journal worldwide, keeping it as a top 5% journal in humanities and social sciences in China.
